The NanO2 project

The European Commission has agreed on the funding of the project

NanO2, Oxidation of Nanomaterials.

The project, a so-called STRP, started on 1.1.2004. Its main goal is the understanding of the oxidation behavior of matter in reduced dimensions under ambient conditions and at elevated temperatures. It involves the collaboration of 10 European research laboratories. The NanO2 webpage will come up in the next month, containing information about the objectives of the project, the participants and recent developments.
