Longterm cooperation with the National Institute for Materials Science, Tsukuba, Japan
In 2007 scientists from the two institutions met for a workshop in Villa Pitiana, Florence. The next exchange will take place May 25 and 26, 2009 at the MPI for Metals Research in Stuttgart.
With the "National Institute for Materials Science" (NIMS) in Tsukuba, Japan, we have a close cooperation for many years. Since 2002, the Institute has an official agreement with NIMS which mutually assures resources for joint research programs, exchange of young scientists and workshops.
